Ardales

Ardales is the quintessential ‘pueblo blanco’ or White town. It is located on a mountain’s edge and therefore has steep hilly streets lined with white houses and traditional bars and restaurants filled with locals.

The town’s crowning glory is the ancient Castillo de la Peña located at the top of the village which is a beautiful sight to see while staying in the village. The village is surrounded by lush olive groves which produce some of the best olive oil in Andalusia and, for that reason, the food in the village is exquisite.
