Benahavis is a rural escape located only 7km from the coast and is located in between Marbella, Estepona and Ronda. It is a relatively small village famous for its restaurants- its known as the Dining Room of the Costa del Sol. It is incredibly picturesque with views to the sea and to the surrounding mountains.
The village is home to 12 of the Costa del Sol’s 70 golf courses so is a hugely popular holiday destination for keen golfers. It is located at the bottom of the Serrania de Ronda Mountain range and Benahavis is traversed by the rivers Guadaiza, Guadalmanza and Guadalmina. The village is not only a natural haven, but also a historical haven. It contains historical places like El Cerro del Duque and the Montemayor Castle.
Benhavis’s location is also perfect. It is only 7 kilometres from the beaches of Marbella and Estepona and is the quintessential Spanish village on the Costa del Sol.
If staying in Benahavis, it is recommended to visit its neighbouring towns: Marbella and Estepona. The best way to reach these is by car.
